What are you planning this weekend?

Most individuals and families aren't planning to spend their free time on financial planning. They just want answers to a few simple questions.

Will my family be OK if something happens to me?
What will happen to the house if I can no longer work?
Will we really have enough money to be comfortable in retirement?
How can I protect my children and secure their financial future?
Will the people I care about most receive the benefits of my estate?

We hear these questions all the time and will help you build practical, tax-aware plans that protect you and your loved ones - both now and in the future.

Frequently Asked Questions

Unsure of anything? Take a look below at some of the questions we are regularly asked.
What exactly do you help families with?

The main focus is making sure your family can keep living their life if your income stops. That includes planning for income replacement, keeping the mortgage and key bills covered, handling debts, and using tax‑aware strategies that can also support long‑term goals like retirement.

Is this just life policies, or do you look at the bigger picture?

We start by understanding your whole situation - family, income, debts, goals, and what keeps you up at night. Then we talk through different ways protection and tax‑efficient planning can help, so any plan you put in place actually fits into a bigger strategies that makes sense to you. Life policies are only one type of product we can help with.

Can these plans really help with retirement and not just “worst‑case” scenarios?

Yes! Plans designed under IRC section 7702 and certain annuities, can grow on a tax‑advantaged basis and later provide supplemental income in retirement. They work alongside workplace plans and IRAs to add another “bucket” that behaves differently than market‑only investments and diversifies your risk and tax strategies.

What happens in the first meeting? Is it a sales pitch?

The first conversation is usually a relaxed, 15-20 minute call or meeting over a coffee, where we ask questions, listen, and get a basic picture of your situation. We outline a few gaps and options in plain language, and then you decide whether you’d like to move to a more detailed review - there’s no pressure and no obligation.

I already have some arrangements with my work. How do I know if it’s enough?

Many people have access to insurance and IRAs through their employer but aren’t sure what it actually does or what the long term outcome will be. We’ll review what you already have, explain it in simple terms, and help you see whether it lines up with your family’s needs and goals, or if there are gaps you may want to address.

Can these plans help if I get seriously sick, not just if I pass away?

We are independent and can access plans from many carriers. Our objective is always to find the best products that suit your circumstances and address your concerns. Many of the plans we recommend will let you access part of the benefit while you’re still alive if you suffer a qualifying serious illness or need assistance in day to day life. Those funds can sometimes be used toward medical costs, everyday bills, or other needs. We’ll explain the details clearly before you decide on anything.

What type of people do you usually work with?

Most of our clients are working families, homeowners, professionals, and business owners who want a straightforward conversation, and guidance - not a lecture or a sales pitch. They care about protecting the people they love, being smart about taxes where possible, and having someone they can call who speaks in plain language and will answer all of the questions they have. If that sounds like you, get in touch.
